Ganz Novi Festival
We developed the visual identity for Ganz Novi Festival at the Student Centre in Zagreb. The concept responds to the changing cultural context. As programmes were being reduced, the idea was to show culture moving elsewhere. Maps of different countries form the base of the visuals, while the Croatian language is consistently crossed out. Each application shifts to a different language, suggesting displacement rather than translation. The system extends through colour and composition. Elements push beyond their frames, text doesn’t fully sit within its boundaries, and colours deliberately slip outside their lines. A small set of decisions, all pointing in the same direction.
